We might not be able to meet in person on Sundays at the moment, but we will continue to meet together online every week. Church was never about a building anyway, it’s the people, and in a time like this it’s more important than ever that we continue to build a thriving community. If you’ve never been to church before or would like to join in for the first time, you’re so welcome!
Over the coming weeks we’ll be running Church At Home. Here’s how it’s going to work.
Instead of having three services on a Sunday, we’d love everyone to gather together at 10am for worship. This will be done in home groups on a video chat platform called Zoom. Worship at Grace Church has always included songs led by a worship leader as well as contributions from the people and that’s not changing. We’re worshipping in smaller groups like this to allow everyone to get involved if they want to. If you’re not connected to a home group yet, we’d love to help you find one. Click here to get started.
After worshipping together, we’ll all tune in for Sunday’s talk at 10.30am. This will be a pre-recorded message but, where possible, we’d love to watch it at the same time to create a shared experience. That’s why the video won’t be available until 10.30am.
After watching the talk, feel free to join back in with your home group chat to catch up in the same way you might do on a Sunday over a drink.
We will also be producing resources for kids so that they can still engage with Church At Home. These will be sent out to parents ahead of the Sunday.
We can’t wait to see you for Church At Home!
