We believe the church is meant to be good news to the poor which is why in 2017 we set up Grace Enterprises, a family of businesses designed to help reduce long-term unemployment and poverty in Nottingham and beyond. There are now three sustainable, commercially competitive, socially responsible businesses under the Grace Enterprises banner and each of them creates supportive, paid jobs for people who face significant barriers to work. You can find out more about each of those businesses by clicking the images below.
Since launching in 2017 we’ve provided supportive employment to over 100 people through Grace Enterprises. That growing number includes those who have experienced homelessness, addiction, and domestic abuse as well as physical and mental health challenges. We've also been able to employ a number of refugees who have fled violence and oppression, offering them a stepping stone into the UK job market.
All of this is a beautiful outworking of the gospel and something we couldn’t do on our own. It's through partnering with other voices and organisations from across the country that this has all come to life.
The Grace Enterprises team is based in our church building and we continue to work together to serve our city and make a real difference to the lives of individuals. You can read more about Grace Enterprises and the way this all works by visiting their website at graceenterprises.co.uk.
