Visit Us

It’s one thing to read about what a church is like but another to actually experience it for yourself. That’s why we would love you to come along to one of our Sunday meetings. If you’ve never been to church before don’t worry, you’re not under any pressure to do anything, you can just come and see what it’s like.

When & Where?

We meet at 9am, 11am and 7pm every Sunday. Doors open at 8.45am and 10.45am for our two morning meetings so you can come early and get a hot drink before we get started. All three of our meetings have a slightly different feel so it’s a good idea to try more than one to see what suits you best. We’re based right in the city centre so we’re easy to get to. Our address is 1 Castle Boulevard, NG7 1FT.

We have use of Central College car park on Sundays which is just across the road and can be accessed via Maid Marian Way (see it in the map above). It's a pay and display car park and costs £1.50 for 4 hours. When parking you need to display a valid ticket as well as a Grace Church parking permit (this will be given to you upon arrival). If you're using a phone or sat nav to find it you're better off putting in the post code for the Avis care hire opposite which is NG1 6AE.

In the morning the car park is open from 8.40am-9.15am, 10:35am-11:15am and then finally locked up at 1pm. In the evening it's open from 6.40pm-7:10pm and then finally locked up at 9:15pm.

What to expect

You don’t need to worry about finding a seat, we’ll have team on hand to help you with that. We’ll kick off the meeting with worship where a band will lead us through some songs. We’ll have a few announcements and then someone will preach from the bible and the whole meeting will be done in about an hour and 15 minutes. But church is more than just that hour or so, we invite people to stay around for hot drinks and refreshments after the meeting to give everyone a chance to meet people and see friends.

If you have children, we’ve got lots for them too. We run a kids programme for all ages at both of our morning meetings. Just chat to someone on the door to find out about the groups available.

We believe church is supposed to feel like family, so from the moment you arrive you’ll be welcomed and looked after. We can arrange for someone to meet you at the door and show you around to help make it a little less daunting. Just sign up here.
