Sundays are our favourite day of the week because we get to come together for church. You can see all of the ways you can experience church below.
Our Services
We'd love you to come and join us for church. We run services at 10am, 4pm and 7:30pm every Sunday and you'd be welcome to try any of them. All of our services last just over an hour and we also stream our 10am service live on YouTube every Sunday, find our channel here.
WORSHIP
Worshipping together is a fundamental part of church life and something we will always prioritise on a Sunday. The way we worship is based on the descriptions we read in the New Testament. We have an amazing team of musicians to lead us in songs together but we also make plenty of space for gifts of the Spirit to be used and different people to contribute to our worship as well - it's vibrant, exciting and full of life! We did a teaching series on these gifts a few years ago which you can listen to here. Even if that's not what you're used to, we'd love you to come and try a Sunday to see it for yourself.
PREACHING
We preach from the Bible every Sunday because we believe it's God's Word and is the best way for us to know Him and be changed. In our Sunday preaching we work through a section of book of the Bible and see how it tells of the work of Jesus, which in turn informs and affects our lives today. You can listen to all of our Sunday talks on our website here or watch them over on our YouTube channel.
Parking
We have a couple of parking options for visitors on Sundays, depending on which service you're attending. If you're coming to the 10am service you can either park in the Bluecoat College car park which is located on Castle Road (opens at 9:40am, locked at 12:30pm) or in the Irish Centre pub car park located on Wilford Street; if you're coming to the 4pm service you can only use the Irish Centre car park; if you're coming to our 7:30pm service we have limited space in our car park, down the side of our building. We have arrangements in place to use these car parks for these specific services. There are signs and team on hand to help point you in the right direction. View a map of our car parking here.
Disabled access: If you need disabled parking please feel free to use our onsite car park (down the side of our building). We reserve this parking for disabled use so you can get as close to the entrance as possible.
What about kids?
We love having kids and families at Grace Church. We run kids' groups for all ages at both our 10am and 4pm services. Every kids' group is led by its own dedicated team who are there to make sure our kids feel safe and have loads of fun. We also run a youth group at our 4pm service for children in school years 7 through to 13.
