Let’s Go Love Nottingham is an outreach week designed to bring good news to the city with our words and be a blessing to our communities with our actions. It's running from 12-15th June 2025.
What is it?
Let's Go Love Nottingham is our annual outreach week, bringing together many aspects of the life and mission of the church. Through Let's Go Love Nottingham we want to see God's love transforming people's lives and communities. We want to bless people in very practical ways, to speak truth and hope into their lives with the gospel, and to ask God to move in and transform our city.
Let's Go Love Nottingham very much builds on the things we already do as a church, introducing new opportunities to reach people with things like garden projects, community service, street evangelism, prayer, and a free Summer Funday.

What will I be doing?
As part of Let's Go Love Nottingham you could get involved in a variety of ways. Full-week delegates are in a team which will focus on one area of outreach. This could include worshipping on the streets, doing practical things such as gardening or cleaning parks, flyering local neighbourhoods, or doing outreach to students on campus.
When is it?
Let's Go Love Nottingham will take place from Thursday 12th – Sunday 15th June. Delegate days will be from 9.30am to 4.30pm on Thursday and Friday. We'll finish off the weekend with big guest services on the Sunday morning at our 9.15am/11.15am meetings.
A typical delegate day (Thursday and Friday) might look something like this...
- 9.30: Teaching, worship & prayer
- 11.30: Outreach session 1
- 1.00: Lunch break
- 14.00: Outreach session 2
- 16.30: Home time

Saturday: Outreach & Funday
Even if you can't make the Thursday and Friday, on Saturday morning you can still join in with Let's Go Love Nottingham. We'll be doing lots of the same activities on the Saturday morning, like street evangelism, gardening and worship on the streets.
Then in the afternoon on the Saturday we'll be running a big Summer Funday. Two years ago the Funday was the thing that meant some people came to church that Sunday and gave their lives to Jesus! We encourage everyone to help with at least one part of our Funday on the Nottingham embankment. This could be anything from running a prayer space to face painting, from doing kids' games to helping serve jacket potatoes!
what about Families?
No matter the age of your family there are opportunities to get involved together to share God’s love to the communities of our city. Not only is this a powerful witness but shows to our kids and young people that going out in mission as a team is a normal and exciting part of life! Let us know what your requirements are and we will accommodate wherever we can - Let's Go Love Nottingham is for everyone!

What if I can't do the days?
We believe Let's Go Love Nottingham is something for the whole church, not just those that have time during the day. So in the week leading up to Let's Go we're going to be hosting a one-off Prayer & Worship Night to pray into everything God's going to do. Then on the Thursday evening we'll be cancelling home groups because we're going to be running a special training evening with a team from No Place Left who specialise in equipping Christians to talk easily about their faith (our staff team did some training with them and came away with glowing reviews). That then leads into the weekend where everyone can be involved in the Funday or the Sunday.
